But avoidance can not work any longer. This is the critical time in life when the rug is lifted, and everything we’ve tucked away comes crawling out.

How to Navigate This Time With Grace
1. The first step is to acknowledge what’s coming up without resistance. Avoidance only gives these emotions and patterns more power. Instead of pushing them back under the rug, observe them with curiosity. What is this situation showing you? What needs to be released? What old stories are you still holding onto that no longer serve you?
Once you recognize what’s surfacing, give yourself space to process it. Journaling, meditation, or taking quiet moments to reflect can help bring clarity. Talking with a friend or gaining counsel from a spiritual guide can also provide new insights and help you see beyond the immediate discomfort.
2. Practicing energetic clearing techniques can be especially helpful now. Whether it’s grounding through nature, releasing emotions through movement, or doing a simple visualization to remove old attachments, clearing stagnant energy allows for a smoother transition into what’s next.
3. Most importantly, be compassionate with yourself. Growth isn’t always comfortable, and healing rarely happens on a timeline we control. But the discomfort of facing these truths is far less damaging than the long-term effects of avoiding them. The rug has been lifted for a reason. What we choose to do next determines whether we stay stuck in old cycles or step into a more empowered, aligned version of ourselves.
